Individual Advantage Dental provides discount dental
coverage for preventive care, basic and major dental for
families and individuals. With the Aetna dental insurance
plans for individuals, allow members to acquire services
from either a participating or non-participating dentist.
Dentists participating in the Aetna dental program offer
services at a negotiated rate for both covered services, as
well as non-covered services such as cosmetic teeth
whitening and orthodontic care. Aetna also gives members the
flexibility to visit a dentist who does not participate in
the program.
Affordable dental coverage

Aetna states that both plans offer its members to visit any
dentist of their choice. However, Aetna advises that
customers may find
that they save money when using participating
(in-network
dentists) rather than non-participating
(out-of-network
dentists).
